Ethnomathematics: Exploration of Geometry from Karang Bayan Ancient Mosque in Elementary School Mathematics Learning

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi filosofis mengenai bangunan serta mengungkap etnomatematika konsep geometri pada Masjid Kuno Karang Bayan, Nusa Tenggara Barat. menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif rancangan penelitian etnografi yang akan menjelaskan salah satu bangunaan bersejarah islam di Lombok teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara secara mendalam. Subjek yaitu dua narasumber merupakan penghulu desa juru kunci/pemelihara masjid paham terhadap aspek sejarah filosofi stuktur kuno. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat makna unsur-unsur matematika berupa bangun datar ruang bagian-bagian masjid. Konsep ditemukan arsitektur Bayan antara lain: prisma atap masjid, balok bagian lampen jejait tunjeng persegi panjang pintu masjid.This study was carried out to uncover the geometric concepts used in an old mosque West Tenggara, and explore philosophical ideas about architecture. This qualitative discussed one of Islamic structures using ethnographic research design. Data collecting strategies were observation -depth interviews. The topic involved two resources who are village chiefs keepers/maintainers knowledgeable architectural history mosque. Findings demonstrated presence philophosis mathematical features mosque's structural components as flat shapes building spaces. Geometry Concepts found architecture ancient Mosque included: 1) Prismal on Roof Mosque; 2) concept beam by roof section; 3) rectangular at door.
